About

The Beaty Martinez grant program is dedicated to  supporting community and educational initiatives throughout Arizona, helping underprivileged children realize their full potential in and out of the classroom.  

We are pleased to offer grants to fund local academic and extracurricular programs, prioritizing  programs that serve children in low-income households.   

Eligibility

We accept submissions from any US-based, IRS-recognized nonprofit organization.  Organizations must have obtained their 501(c)(3) status or qualify as tax-exempt within the meaning of the Internal Revenue Service code. Examples of tax exempt organizations that may not have a 501(C)(3) status include, school districts, universities and government entities. If you fall into this second category, please provide your EIN number on the application. 

Grants typically range from $500-$5,000, depending on such factors as mission alignment and availability of funds. 

How to Apply

•  Complete the below application. 
• Complete application using the link below and attach your organization's 501(c)(3) determination letter.
  • If you are a school group that has not achieved 501(c)(3) status, please submit your district’s W9 form and a letter on school district letterhead, signed by a school district official, stating that the school in question falls under the jurisdiction of the school district, a governmental entity.  
• Timeline: Requests will be reviewed at our quarterly Board of Directors meetings.

Reporting Requirement

At the  completion of the project, grant recipients are required to report back on

how the grant funds were used. Photos and/or letters from the children are always appreciated!
